Popular Lies Used to Make You Buy Fake Watches

Sale of counterfeit products is a growing worldwide industry. Presently, counterfeiting accounts for about five to seven per cent of all global trade. The UK counterfeit market is estimated to be worth above £9 billion. A lot of people decide to buy fake watches modeled after established watch brands mainly because they cannot afford the originals. Replica watches give the wearer an opportunity to be associated with the seeming feelings of class and success. The fake watches are designed to closely look like the originals, but they lack the same quality. Manufacturers and sellers of fake watches sometimes promote some lies and myths to promote sales.

A popular lie associated with fake watches is that they are Swiss made. In truth almost all replica watches are made in Asia, usually China. Many claim to be made in Swiss, Italian or Japan to sell at higher prices.
Another lie is that replica watches are graded based on their quality. Some claim the watch their replica watch is AAA+++ graded (supposedly the highest replica quality). There is no governing board for fake watches, so no ones awards it certification of quality. They are fakes, pure and simple.
Another lie is that a replica watch is 99% identical to the original and would even fool an authorized watch dealer. Any seasoned watch dealer will however be able to simply spot a fake. You also should not expect to buy a watch for about $200 and have it be a close identical to the original selling above $4,000.
Replica watches are usually made with 440 steel or 316L steel. Most sellers will however claim that their watches were made with 904L grade steel. This is a lie as Rolex is the only company that uses 904L steel. Replicas are also made with gold plated steel and not pure gold.

When attempting to buy fake watches, be sure that you are not fooled. What you are buying is a fake because it is just an impersonation of the original. For the watch to be of lesser price it has to compromise a lot on quality. If want to buy them, do so because they may be good lookalikes not because you were made to believe they are of close quality. Knowing what you are really buying will help you decide what will be a good price to buy fake watches.
